Bye-Bye Crib….. Hello Big Girl Bed!

 

Well my Little Ladybug has been able to climb out of her crib for some time.  The very first ‘incident’ was when she was only 15 months old, and in the middle of the night of course!  We lowered the mattress and that held her off for awhile.   However, she eventually grew tall enough to carry on with her monkey ways. 

She was able to be redirected for a short while with the reminder that she would receive a spanking should she climb out.  Then she reached the point where she was able to climb back in.  So we decided that there really was no point in keeping her in a crib any longer.  Not to mention, it was a old rickety thing that we feared would fall apart.

So she has moved on to a BIG GIRL bed!!  She is very excited and so far, so good!  To our surprise, she is staying in her bed very well……so far anyway! 

                 

Now if we could just get her potty trained……………….. :)

Oh and Little Lizard seems to like the bed too!

               

I don’t think she realizes that he is growing at a much faster rate than her, and he will be beating her up very soon!
