Art:

This week we chose to forgo the art options from the teacher’s manual, and make some Middle Eastern tiles I found in our Usborne Art Treasury book.

Here’s how we made them.

  1. Make a cross template and star template, trace them on some paper.
  2. Draw designs, animals, flowers, whatever you choose in the tiles, and color them with colored pencils.
  3. Add some glitter to glue and brush it over the tiles.
  4. Once they dry cut them out and glue them onto a colored piece of paper.
