We are enjoying having Daddy home. He has been a big help entertaining the little ones while Big Ladybug and I complete school. (Even though little ladybug still has a way of sneaking by him!)

We discussed how we should think before we speak, watching what we say, so we do not hurt other people’s feelings.
Big Ladybug made her “Animal Tales” booklet as part of her phonics this week. She loves to draw so she had this done in no time!
Science: This week we studied ‘trees and seeds’. Big Ladybug learned how important trees are not only to us, but to animals and insects. We went to Papa’s house to search for seeds, with great success! We also walked around our yard and collected leaves. The Ladybugs then made some artwork out of their great finds!
Did you know?? The largest seed in the plant kingdom weighs 60 lbs! It is from the Coco de mer, or double coconut palm.
Also, did you know?? That cinnamon is from the bark of the Cinnamomum zeylandicum tree, it is the bark rolled into quills.
